At Safehaven Care, we promote dignity, growth, and self-advocacy for individuals with ASD, CP, DS, and other developmental delays. Our personalized care plans, built in collaboration with families and specialists, focus on each person’s strengths not their diagnosis. Our Youth and Adult programs promote independence, confidence, and connection. Through skill-building and community engagement, we empower clients to form relationships, navigate social spaces, and live with purpose and pride.
Specialized in-home care:
We provide compassionate, personalized help with daily tasks encouraging independence, dignity, and comfort in each client’s home. Clients gain pride and self-reliance as they learn to manage everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping with our caring guidance. We target mental health, behavioral, and expert services and life skills for our clients to gain the tools to live more independently and meaningfully.

Community Access:

Our social activities and group outings help clients form friendships, develop empathy, and build a sense of belonging within their community.
Employment Supports:
We assist clients with resume building, interview preparation, job searching, and on-the-job coaching to achieve meaningful employment and career growth.
Specialized Support:
With access to personalized mental health, behavioural, and expert services, clients gain the tools to live more independently and meaningfully.
Respite Outings:
Joyful activities like zoo visits, park trips, and swimming encourage clients to have fun, explore interests, and strengthen social inteinteractions.
Community Outreach:
We support clients in volunteering, attending events, and connecting with local organizations to build strong relationships and support networks.
